These assorted pieces are all made of sterling silver and are all marked "sterling." They each possess their respective marker's marks. The Gorham letter opener has "Gorham" written on the blade. The handle is sterling silver and the blade is stainless steel. The butter knife has Gorham's marker's symbols of the lion, anchor, and script G, it also includes the name of the designer J. Bachman. It is patent 1870. The Whiting piece and Mauser piece are marked patent as well. They each have distinct patterns and are in very fine condition for their age.
