Artist Bio
Pandora grew up around surfing and was a professional longboarder before making the career move to painting. Thanks to her mother, Karen Decoster, an established painter, Pandora grew up exposed to the art world. Paint and brushes were always part of her life. Pandora’s paintings show a fine balance between a naive minimalist setting, with a certain emotional realism present in the faces of the women she portrays. They capture real life all around her, a life of sea, and of surfing, often during a magic light at the end of the day. However, she is not trying to paint surfing; she is painting her daily life and the real people in it.
