An original serigraph on paper print by prolific French-Brazilian printmaker, Linda Le Kinff. Using bold colors, the artist renders a classical composition of a woman sitting in front of a table with a vase filled with white calla lilies. The woman wears a strapless blue and green dress with a red skirt and sits in front of a coffee table with a patchwork cloth and a matching vase. This print is in excellent condition, signed ‘Linda Le Kinff’ in pencil on the bottom right corner, numbered 321/350 on the bottom left corner and professionally framed with a white mat and a gold painted wooden frame with carved decorations.
Linda Le Kinff (b.1949) is a French- Brazilian artist best known for her colorful prints. She started her career as a painter at the age of 20. Le Kinff lived and worked in Italy for twelve years learning the ancient techniques taught by masters in Florence and Livorno. She began creating serigraphs in the mid 1980`s and uses this technique exclusively in the creation of her original graphic works. Le Kinff also expresses herself through watercolors, and recently through collage. Her subjects are extremely diverse, and include musical scenes, poetic interpretations of people caught in an intimate moment of their lives, and couples elegantly dressed, out for a night on the town.
