ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This contemporary piece is a pop-art style silkscreen print of a rare photo of Andy Warhol (1928-1987). There are four identical images of Warhol holding a sign that reads “PORTRAIT,” in different color schemes, reminiscent of Warhol’s own works with portraits of celebrities. The writing on the bottom left corner reads “WARHOL PORTRAIT 1985.” This piece was as an experimental project by photographer Mark Greenberg. One of the four photographs has also been sold as a NFT for over $100,000.00. The artist’s signature is on the bottom right corner. It reads as “Max Greenberg.” The piece is dated 2011. This silkscreen print has been done on stretched canvas. The measurements are 39.5” (high) x 39" (wide).
