Set of 4 Sterling Silver Wine Cups (8 oz total, 2 oz each)
Height: 4 in, Diameter: 1.75 in
These beautiful pieces are made of sterling silver and are marked "sterling" on the edge of the base along with the design or serial number. The maker is unknown but the lovely pieces are Judaica as they have engravings of the Star of David. Traditionally, they could be used to drink wine on Friday night after bringing in the Sabbath. They could also be used simply to drink wine or any other beverage. They are small, standing at only 4 inches tall with an almost 2 inch diameter. The cups are flute shaped. They date circa 1910 and are in excellent condition for their age.
