This is a printed copy of one of Victor Coleman Anderson’s (1882-1937) paintings. 

Victor C. Anderson was part of the Hudson River School movement. He mainly painted and illustrated rural life scenes and landscapes. His work has been featured in early 20th century magazines, such as Life, and several books. 

This print is of a painting of a peaceful scene of an elderly couple on their porch. The bare trees and trees with changing colored leaves suggest it is Autumn on the couple’s quaint property. 

While the original painting was made in the early 20th century, this specific print was most likely made in the 1960s. Anderson’s facsimile signature, "Victor C. Anderson.” is on the bottom left in black paint. The piece is in very good condition overall, there is a small tear on the left. The print has been professionally matted with a gold matingt and framed in an aged wooden framed. The piece measures 21” high x 27.5” wide framed.
