On the obverse of all American Gold Eagle coins is the image of Lady Liberty created in 1907 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This design featured on the $20 Gold Double Eagle from 1907 to 1933 and features her figure as she walks away from the nations capital to lead the country into the future.
The reverse of 1/10 oz American Gold Eagles includes the image of bald eagles. Created in 1986 by Miley Busiek, this image includes a nest with hatchlings guarded by a female eagle. A male eagle is depicted flying overhead with an olive branch in its talons.
These 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle coins earned perfect Mint State 70 certifications from either the NGC or PCGS. An MS70 coin has full, original mint luster and lacks any detracting flaws on the designs and surface area.
