EARL MONROE, 1990S SIGNED CUSTOM MADE NY KNICKS JERSEY - $4K APPRAISAL VALUE!


ITEM DESCRIPTION:

An authentic, official custom made jersey for Earl Monroe when he took the Knicks to the World Championship in 1973. This jersey is signed “Earl ‘The Pearl’ Monroe on number 5 and “HOF 1990” on number 1, both with a black ink felt tip pen. It is in perfect condition, and it was given personally to a close friend at the end of one of the Knicks seasons. This item is professionally framed with a bright orange mat in a beautiful 41.5’’ x 33.5’’ x 2’’ high quality varnished wooden frame. 


Vernon Earl Monroe (b.1944) is an American former professional basketball player. He played for two teams, the Baltimore Bullets and the New York Knicks, during his career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Both teams have retired Monroe's number. Due to his on-court success and flashy style of play, Monroe was given the nicknames "Black Jesus" and "Earl the Pearl". Monroe was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1990.
