This is an original Rawlings, Official League baseball signed by Joe DiMaggio. It is one of very few ‘photo balls’ in existence, which have a printed picture of DiMaggio on it. Underneath his signature is DiMaggio’s inscription “Yankee Clipper”; very few exist with this inscription. The ball is in perfect condition: 100/100. It will come with a hologram on the ball as well as its original certificate from All American Collectibles (which was a direct distributor of Joe DiMaggio balls) that was signed by his attorney and representative Morris Engleberg. This ball also comes with a receipt from 2003, when the ball was originally purchased for $600. 

 

DiMaggio is widely considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time. He has nine (9) World Series rings from his 13-year career in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees as a center fielder. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1955 and was voted the sport's greatest living player in 1969.
