This is an original limited edition print of former New York Jets football player Joe Namath by artist Stephen Holland. This beautiful print from the original oil painting is a limited edition print – only 200 were ever made. This is one of the first prints, marked number 33/200. It is signed by both Holland and Namath. The artist, Stephen Holland, signed the piece in the lower right corner. It is signed by Joe Namath in the lower left in very large letters. This is one of the largest signatures we have ever seen of Namath’s in a beautiful bright gold sharpie. It has an original hologram that shows the piece is genuine and authentic. This is one of the nicest iconic pictures of one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and certainly the greatest New York JETS player and the last player to help them win the Super Bowl. The piece is in absolutely perfect brand new condition. It is professionally framed and matted with a classic black frame. It also comes with a certificate which accompanies it on the back.
This limited edition print was produced from an original oil painting made by acclaimed artist Stephen Holland. Stephen Holland is widely considered to be one of the great sport artists of our generation. He is most well known for his paintings of the boxer Muhammad Ali.
Joseph William “Willie” Namath, nicknamed "Broadway Joe", is a former professional football player who played quarterback for the New York Jets. Namath is widely considered to be one of the, if not the, greatest players for the New York Jets. During his time with the JETS he brought the team to a Super Bowl victory over 50 years ago when he predicted one of the greatest upsets in sports history with their victory over the Baltimore Colts.
