The spectacular bowl was designed by Olad Wilford in the Art Deco fashion for the NY World's Fair, featured in Tiffany's display at the House of Jewels Pavilion 1939-1940. Because the pattern was so well received, Tiffany made a limited amount of items in that pattern for sale, including the serving plate, until the 1950s. This makes the pieces very rare and valuable. The pattern features 5 vertical panels with tomato or pumpkins and foliage. The pieces are marked with the Tiffany & Co. name along with the words “sterling silver” and the date mark, which is when Louis de Bian Moore was president of the company. The pieces are in excellent condition.
