American Silver Eagle coins are the official silver apr57 product of the US Mint. Introduced in 1986, these apr57 versions of the coin have been struck in every year since then with the same beautiful design of Walking Liberty.
Created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, Walking Liberty is a depiction of Lady Liberty striding toward the setting sun with her right arm outstretched. The imagery represents Americas constant drive toward a brighter future.
In this product listing youll receive a 1 oz American Silver Eagle coin in Mint State 69 condition. Coins in this condition are considered near-perfect, exhibiting full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. The coins will arrive in an NGC or PCGS plastic slab with various labels available, such as Early Release or First Strike.
Both the ER and FS labels, potentially available in this listing, indicate coins that were received for grading by the respective certification houses within the first 30 days of their release in a given year of issue.
APR 57 cannot guarantee the grading house (NGC or PCGS) and labels on the coin you receive with your purchase. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the year of issue youll receive, only that your 1 oz American Silver Eagle will have a grade of MS69 and come from a year of issue dating between 1986 and the present.
On the obverse of all American Silver Eagle coins is Weinmans Walking Liberty. Her beautiful figure has appeared on the Silver Eagle since its 1986 introduction, and originally featured on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin from 1916 to 1947. The reverse of all American Silver Eagle coins includes John Mercantis heraldic eagle design, a modern take on an American coin design first used in 1794.
