What's Hot: Vinyl Records
Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter, author and visual artist. He is most often regarded as one of the greatest, and somewhat mysterious songwriters of all time. Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture for over 50 years. Much of his most celebrated work dates from the 1960s, when songs such as "Blowin In The Wind" (1963) and "The Times They Are A Changing" (1964) became notable anthems during the Civil Rights, and Anti-War movements. His lyrics during this period incorporated a range of political, social, philosophical, and literary influences, defying pop music conventions and appealing to the burgeoning counterculture. Today we are focusing on a specific album, Nashville Skyline. Released in 1969, Despite the dramatic, commercial shift in direction, the press also gave Nashville Skyline a warm reception. A critic for Newsweek, wrote of "the great charm... and the ways Dylan, both as composer and performer, has found to exploit subtle differences on a deliberately limited emotional and verbal scale." Nashville Skyline marked a stark change in Dylan's vocals: He had developed a baritone country croon that he claimed was a result of his decision to quit smoking cigarettes.

Bob Dylan Rare Signature: A True Rarity
Bob Dylan is notoriously known for having short interactions with his fan base. He’s surrounded by bodyguards at all times and according to his personal sources, he hates signing. That makes him a difficult artist to “get” for autograph hounds. The fake reproductions of his signatures, as you can imagine, are rife. This resulted in a strong seller’s market. Autographs on paper start at around $1,000, with signed photographs and albums going for upwards of $10,000. Those prices are just the start, as the number of authentic autographs are highly unlikely to go up in years to come.

His most overtly "country" work, Nashville Skyline is "a warm, friendly album...At its core are several excellent songs that have become country-rock standards. And there's no discounting that [this album], arriving in the spring of 1969, established country-rock as a vital force in pop music, as well as a commercially viable genre" (Stephen Thomas Erlewine). The album cover bears Dylan's bold signature over his picture. Cover and partially visible LP attractively mounted and framed with a nameplate and a skyline in silhouette. A fine, signed piece of music memorabilia.
