Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Hand Bell (6.7 oz)
Height: 5.5 in, Diameter: 2.5 in
This beautiful piece is made of sterling silver by the famous Tiffany & Co. The detailing shows that it is a vintage piece and quite valuable for its high quality that has lasted over several decades. The ornate handle is filigree designed like a crown with leaf like motifs. It appears to be rococo style. The bell itself has two bands, one higher up with X shapes and one closer to the edge with sun shapes. The mechanic inside are silver as well. The piece is marked “sterling silver” and has the Tiffany name although it is a bit hard to see because it is worn down and faded. The piece dates circa 1870 to 1891, when Edward C. Moore was president of the company, as the date mark indicates. It is in excellent condition.
